# Integration

{% hint style="info" %}
**Device API** · NV 1.0 · Early Access
{% endhint %}

A Discovery integration spans three components: your backend (creates the check and receives the discovered MSISDN), the device (drives the verification over cellular data), and the SDK on the device side. Pick the platform you're working with.

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th><th data-hidden data-card-target data-type="content-ref"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>iOS</strong></td><td>IDlayrKit. Pins requests to cellular and drives the discovery redirect chain.</td><td><a href="/pages/ma4iulTycW2peyEcgNtC">/pages/ma4iulTycW2peyEcgNtC</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Android</strong></td><td>idlayr-sdk-android. Same cellular-pinning behaviour and completion flow.</td><td><a href="/pages/qhplp1NRMRxm48ONfINH">/pages/qhplp1NRMRxm48ONfINH</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Backend</strong></td><td>Mint tokens, create checks, receive the discovered MSISDN.</td><td><a href="/pages/xPRwrQEkWYYN8YRkQVlC">/pages/xPRwrQEkWYYN8YRkQVlC</a></td></tr></tbody></table>

## Before you start

* Review [Prerequisites](/products/number-verification/discovery/prerequisites.md) — projects, credentials, SDK install, **consent and privacy posture**.
* Read [How it works](/products/number-verification/discovery/how-it-works.md) for the end-to-end flow.
* If you plan to display the discovered number to the user, see [User consent and displaying the number](/products/number-verification/discovery.md#user-consent-and-displaying-the-number).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.idlayr.com/products/number-verification/discovery/integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
